As a key facility at MacDonald Island Park, the Suncor Community Leisure Centre (SCLC) welcomes tens of thousands of guests per year. Rexall Place is an indoor arena in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada situated on the north side of Northlands Park. It is home to the Edmonton Oilers of the NHL, the Edmonton Rush of the National Lacrosse League and the Edmonton Oil Kings of the WHL.
Hosting more than 400 events and 1.3 million yearly visitors, the Edmonton EXPO Centre is the largest exhibition space in Western Canada. Located in the heart of Regina, Brandt Centre is home to the WHL Regina Pats. This 6,000-seat arena with executive skyboxes and full-service concessions regularly hosts large sporting events, concerts, championship curling, award shows, conventions and trade shows.
The Co-operators Centre at Evraz Place features six regulation-size ice surfaces with a main arena providing seating for 1,300 spectators. This premier ice sports facility hosts local, regional, national and international competitions year-round, including hockey, ringette, figure skating and broomball.
The AffinityPlex is Regina's premier multi-purpose facility that's home to more than 300 events and 1.3M visitors each year. With a capacity for 7,000 people, the 90,000 sq. ft. facility is Saskatchewan's largest indoor multi-sport facility complete with $1M interchangeable artificial turf, 16 dressing rooms, a fully serviced trade show floor, and food and beverage services in the food court that's open seven days a week.
Evraz Place is home to the Viterra International Trade Centre—a 150,000 sq. ft. multi-purpose facility that joins all buildings on the 100-acre property, with the exception of Mosaic Stadium. When the facility opened in November 2017, it made Evraz Place one of the largest interconnected event complexes of its kind in Canada. The Viterra International Trade Centre is the perfect location for trade and consumer shows, large meetings, catered events and everything in between.
StFX Stadium is the home of the X-Men football, X-Women rugby, X-Men and X-Women soccerm cross country and track & field teams, along with numerous club teams, intramural participants, recreational users and community groups.
The stadium features artificial field turf (installed in 2009), with field lines for football, rugby, soccer and lacrosse, along with an eight-lane 400m rubberized track. There is bleacher and individual seating for 1100, stadium lighting and perimeter fencing.
Miskanaw Golf Club is one of Alberta’s premier courses. Featuring a wide variety of challenging holes, the par-71, 18-hole golf course at Miskanaw recently celebrated the completion of a designed by Robert Kains Golf Course Architecture.
Developed and built by the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, the 112,000 square-foot Anzac Recreation Centre presented by CNOOC, includes a Fitness Centre, the Fort McMurray First Nation Group Indoor Running Track, an NHL-sized arena, field house, boardroom and meeting spaces, the Keyera Indoor Playground and other amenities.
The Conklin Multiplex is a community and recreation facility serving the hamlets of Conklin and Janvier. The Multiplex includes a fitness centre, arena, gymnasium, fitness studio, gathering spaces for children and youth, an elders room, community kitchen and more.
An Aquatic Centre addition located next to the existing Archie Simpson Arena, this modern facility provides a year-round space for the community to enjoy aquatic amenities such as a 25 metre pool, waterpark, waterslide, hot tub and sauna.
